Founder and Research Professor
Alexander Rojas R.
My undergraduate studies (undergraduate studies) are in Political Science and Government from the Universidad del Rosario, Bogotá, Colombia, with honors; and my Master's degree (MA) in History from the Universidad Javeriana, Bogotá, Colombia, with cum laude honors. I am currently preparing my PhD candidacy with The Americas' Governments' Stability—TAGS Project. I am a founding member of the Political Observatory of the Americas, where I coordinate research projects, publish political analysis, and tutor theses, as well as inter-institutional relations. As an associate professor at the School of Law and Political Sciences, I direct courses in the Political Science and Government program on State and Constitutional Theory, Global History, and Comparative Studies of the Americas. My current academic and research interests focus on contemporary political history, the State, democracy, and stability of governments in the Americas.

My name is Juan Sebastián Hozman, I am currently in my third semester of Political Science and Government at Universidad El Bosque.
I have been a member of the Political Observatory of the Americas since October 2024.
My academic and research interests focus on Colombian conflicts, global history, and the development of democracies in Latin America.
